Bissell is a family-owned corporation that has been creating some of the world’s best cleaning tools for over 130 years, including floor cleaning chemicals and their range of vacuums, carpet sweepers, carpet deep cleaners and bare floor vacuums. Starship was asked to help increase sales and brand awareness for Bissell, and to launch a number of new Bissell products into the Australian market.


Creating messaging that stands out in a crowded brand space while keeping the work aligned to Bissell’s existing brand style and positioning.


Starship created a range of collateral following Bissell’s brand style, including postcards, stickers, print ads, brochures, fold-out informational booklets and vehicle livery. A striking, image strategy focused largely on families and Australian home-owners, giving the brand collateral a more human, aspirational look rather than placing the focus front and centre on the products.
